The Wriath has 2 abilities outside its 3 evidences. The first ability I will discuss is the easiest to use in identifying a Wraith: no salt footprints.
At the time of writing, the Wraith will NOT produce a footprint the a salt pile.
Test: place a motion sensor intersecting a pathway you believe the ghost will walk. Most likely, this will be in the ghost room or on the door's threshold to the ghost room. Place piles of salt so that if the salt were walked on, the motion sensor would be triggered. Wait and watch. If you see the motion sensor triggered (and not by you or a teammate), see if there is a footprint in any of the salt. If there are NO footprints IN the salt piles, this is a Wraith.
Keep in mind, dead teammates can trigger motion sensors. Don't let them troll you.
For reference, see the picture below. The left pile of salt has no footprint. The right pile of salt has a footprint.
The second ability of a Wraith: teleport. the Wraith can teleport to a target player of its choosing (targets may vary within the same game), in which it will give off an EMF 2 reading at the new target location.
If you get a random EMF that you can't link to a door or light touch, keep the Wraith in mind.
Test: This teleport can be tested by parking yourself away from the ghost room. Set a motion sensor ( or prefereable two) along the quickest, most direct route between your new position and the ghost room. Have an EMF near/on you. If you get a random EMF 2, watch the motion sensors to the see if the ghost walks back from your position to the ghost room.
While I have seen the Wraith's teleport ability tested this way, I have not done it myself. I don't really see a reason to, since the salt test is easier and more difinitive.
